These plans don’t include Part D. They mainly suit people with drug coverage from elsewhere, such as the VA or TRICARE. Joining one generally means you can’t also join a stand-alone Part D plan.

Giveback = the monthly Part B premium reduction each plan filed with CMS for 2027. Worst-case year = 12 × (monthly plan premium − giveback) + in-network maximum out-of-pocket, so a large giveback can make it lower than the out-of-pocket maximum. The standard Part B premium was $202.90 a month in 2026. Special Needs Plans, Cost plans, employer plans and plans under CMS sanction aren’t listed. Methodology

Before you enroll: check that your doctors are in the plan’s network and how it covers your drugs, in the official Medicare Plan Finder. See every New Jersey plan, giveback or not, in our New Jersey Medicare Advantage ranking.

Questions

Which Medicare Advantage plans in New Jersey have a Part B giveback for 2027?

15 of the 56 general-audience plans in New Jersey filed a Part B premium reduction with CMS for 2027: 7 with drug coverage and 8 without. The largest is $140 a month, from Clover Health Choice Giveback (PPO).

How do I get the Part B giveback?

Join the plan. The plan's reduction comes off the standard Part B premium you'd otherwise pay, whether that premium is taken from your Social Security benefit or billed to you. You keep paying any Part B premium that's left.

Is a giveback plan the cheapest choice?

Not always. Plans that pay back part of your Part B premium can have higher copays, a higher out-of-pocket maximum or a narrower network. The worst-case year in the table counts the giveback as money back and adds the out-of-pocket maximum, so you can compare plans on one number.

Does the giveback help if Medicaid pays my Part B premium?

No. If Medicaid or a Medicare Savings Program pays your Part B premium, CMS sends the reduction to your state, not to you. The giveback also can't lower a Part B late enrollment penalty.
