The YourBest Editorial Team writes and reviews every guide, calculator and ranking on YourBestHealthPlans, and maintains the plan data behind them.
How we check our work
- The source, not a summary. Premiums, deductibles, out-of-pocket limits and star ratings come from CMS plan files. Program figures come from CMS, Medicare.gov, SSA, HHS and the IRS.
- One formula. Every plan in a list is scored the same way (methodology), so nothing is placed by hand.
- Dated figures. Each page shows the plan year and the date its sources were checked.
The same team runs YourBestSavings, YourBestCards, YourBestLoanRates and YourBestTaxes. We are not licensed insurance agents and do not sell or enroll anyone in coverage.
